There are a number of layers of the Earth's atmosphere, and each has a specified altitude or range of altitudes. Use Wolfram|Alpha to explore each layer and obtain many different properties, including pressure, temperature, density, speed of sound, air mass above and gravitational acceleration at that altitude. We live in the troposphere, but there are many additional layers that can be explored, such as the thermosphere and exosphere.
